Update: the game I made this for is available for free on itchio and you can find it here: https://ultra-shenanigans.itch.io/human-upgrade-labs
A giant monument engraved with scenes from all over history commemorating the most unlikely events since the formation of earth. However, the weight of history is substantial and now this statue stands in middle of nowhere so as to discourage learning about some of events it depicts.
I drew this for a personal puzzle game project. In game each of the carvings on the statue serves as a little puzzle that needs to be untangled and also it helps to explain some of the background info for this strange story I'm making up.
I keep mentioning this game, this beautiful and frustrating bastard, because most of my personal artwork in past year or two or maybe a century I made for this project. It's fun, but it has been taking soooooo long, but I finally have the demo version of it almost ready. I have everything working for the content that is there: the various minigames/puzzles, the dialogs, the character customization thing and it seems not to be too much of a buggy mess. Who would have thunk. Perhaps, just perhaps, I can upload this to ichio in a week or two after I deal with some of the final testing! After that I have so much ideas for further content that it's not even funny, I just wish I had more time to make all the stuff. It be fun.
I would love to chat about game design if some of the people here have encountered that or are simply indie game enthusiasts. Most of my favorite games in recent years have been Noita and What the Golf and other relatively small projects and I'm always impressed with what only a few people can build. Anyway, in the meantime, here is a link to my previous game, available here for free: https://ultra-shenanigans.itch.io/dream-mechanic
